Use this (liquid) garlic solution to spray on your plants but dilute it with some water. This solution can help kill mosquitoes, caterpillars, and aphids; and it can also ward off rabbits.

If we take the first step prevention, you can prevent quite a few problems from happening by keeping your garden as healthy as possible. Plant flowering and non-flowering plants to attract the good insects to balance out the bad insects in your garden. Conduct research to know what sorts of insects and diseases prevail in your area and plant resistant varieties of plants to combat the problem.

A control spray using mineral oil or vegetable oil - Oils like these, when sprayed on soft-bodied bugs can actually cause these insects to suffocate.
